The work location for this position is on Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Maryland.
Provide technical implementation, configuration, monitoring, audit, administration, and support of network solutions to support the program and business operations in support of critical Government Acquisition tasks.
Manages life-cycle sustainment of IT equipment.
Ensure computers, printers, and other electronic communication devices are maintained.
Responsible for ensuring the proper IT 5 is purchased for PdM personnel.
Provide support for wide and local area network implementations while supporting all Government network security guidelines and processes.
Manage network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.
Establish and maintain the network and component/ancillary items.
Utilize monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance and trace data and protocol activity.
Install systems and trains customer to use new or changed applications.
Begin to plan research, evaluate and recommend new computer network equipment and technologies.
Devise solutions to moderately complex operational problems within the capacity and operation limitations of installed equipment.
Directs on-site customer interface for program guidance, testing, systems analysis, and other system related tasks as needed.
Prepares detailed documented requirements for selected activities (i.e., data management, configuration management, program management, etc.)
Manages life-cycle sustainment of IT equipment.
Plans and manages the implementation and integration of new technologies and updates to commercial software.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Associate’s degree or technical diploma/degree in Computer Science, math, engineering or Information Technology with 7+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, math, engineering or Information Technology with at least 2 - 4 years of job-related experience or equivalent for similar Government Program Offices. Excellent communications and analytical skills; demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Experience in network and server administration, desktop hardware and software support.

Candidate must be able to provide in person and remote troubleshooting and support for printer, laptop and peripheral devices.
Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Position requires strong analytical, interpersonal and project management skills. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Provide time saving solutions for daily operations through means of automation, data processing and/or process management.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able able to read, speak and write English.
Due to nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
Position may require travel.
Candidate with Security+, MCSA and Windows 10 computing environment certifications per DoD 8570.0 is preferred.
Candidate that is able to administer Microsoft SharePoint site collections with multiple custom workflows, is preferred.
Candidate must be able to administer Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS) is preferred.
Candidate that is able to provide system administrative support for Microsoft Windows Server environments is preferred.
Candidate must be able to serve as liaison between local Network Enterprise Center and tenant organization to coordinate service, changes, and security of tenant owned devices is preferred.
