The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of proposals, as well as management and administration of contracts with Department of Defense (DoD) customers for Reconnaissance and Targeting Systems (RTS) Programs. Duties include a lead role for Request for Proposal (RFP) assessments, capture/proposal strategies, contract negotiation, and general contract management. The successful applicant will be the primary customer interface for business and contracting matters and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining trust and cooperation while ensuring that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and guidelines. You will work closely with Program Managers, Business/Estimating, Corporate Treasury and Export/Import Operations. The selected candidate will advise management of contractual rights/obligations and the means to mitigate contractual/program risks. Must be able to represent Raytheon independently on significant transactions. This assignment requires an ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with external and internal customers.

Required Skills and Education:
6 years of experience in contract administration, including proposal preparation and contract negotiation, or experience in a closely related field.
BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field
A proven track record of success in contracting including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) terms and conditions, financial instruments and import/export regulations
Computer proficiency, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and shared data bases
JD or MBA
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
