Job Summary

Proficient with interfacing with customers, understanding their requirements, and assisting them with developing products in an R&D support related environment.

Understanding and utilizing document control systems.

Experience in assisting/performing all aspects of procurement/accounting/purchasing in support of services contracts.

Proficient in Excel; being able to build, modify and develop complex spreadsheets and pivot tables.

Skilled in building, maintaining, and reformatting templates in Microsoft Word.

Work will include using systems developed using MS SharePoint, InfoPath and SharePoint Learning Kit

Will need working knowledge and/or direct experience using these platforms or be able to learn the basics of them on-the-job.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English or Journalism and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Experience may be substituted for education

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with SharePoint, specifically accessing and maintaining databases, generating report, and developing queries.
