Job Summary

AECOM's Geotechnical Team is seeking a talented Intermediate-level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • Manage site inspections and field investigations involving soil and rock drilling, monitoring well installations, borehole instrumentation, soil and groundwater sampling, pump testing, and geotechnical testing

  • Provide leadership and oversight for large geotechnical laboratory testing programs

  • Writing and reviewing technical reports;

  • Communicate with the Project Team on work progress, health and safety management, schedule, and costs.

  • Undertake analyses including interpretation of field investigation, geotechnical testing results, and report preparation

  • Carrying out analysis of data, including computer analyses;

  • Assist in business development activities by supporting proposal efforts and developing winning strategies

  • Work with the team on projects in the GTA, and collaborate on projects across Ontario

  • The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients. This is a challenging position for a self-motivated individual that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth.

  • Work independently with little supervision, depending on the complexity of the assignment;

Minimum Requirements

At a very minimum, this position requires a BA/BS + at least 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

P.Eng license required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor degree with minimum 4 years of experience in Ontario Geotechnical projects.
