Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Senior Air Quality Manager in Chicago Illinois.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Business Development:

  • Generate new business and prospective clients, present AECOM capabilities, identify opportunities to expand client base.

  • Generate proposals for Chicago team

  • Make sales or technical presentations and or training.


  • Major, Minor and Title V Air Permitting Projects

  • Environmental Regulatory Compliance Evaluation, Support and Audits

  • Environmental Impact Evaluation.

  • Review others work, responsible for quality of project deliverables

Project Management

  • Organize and manage technical teams to meet project goals

  • Maintain/Nurture existing client relationships

  • Project Accounting - setup projects in AECOM systems, followup on invoicing/payment issues, track financial performance

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or related science and 10+ years of industrial consulting experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Serve as lead consultant in execution of mid- to large size air environmental projects.

  • Position is as a seller/doer providing air environmental consulting services to industrial clients.
