Job Summary

At least 2 years of prior experience with DTRA CTR WMDPPP Land Border execution work in an OCONUS setting

  • Bachelors’ degree in IT, Telecommunications, or Engineering

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment in harsh/remote (field) working conditions

  • Willingness and ability to travel (with extended overnight deployments) to remote border sites in a “camp” environment, and to work effectively in extreme temperatures, on sites requiring physical exertion

  • At least two years of prior successful OCONUS experience installing, integrating, testing, commissioning, and providing training to host nation personnel on the operation and maintenance of telecommunications and surveillance systems

  • At least two years of prior experience developing and deploying custom-tailored internet and/or intranet-accessible computer-based training modules, tailored to the mission, environment, and project-specific job skills that must be mastered by trainees

  • Demonstrated understanding of IP protocols; secure telecommunications architectures and data transmission methods; integration of radar, camera, and communications signals via software and hardware so that all can be displayed at remote locations (not collocated with the sensor suites), using commercial and/or proprietary common operating picture (COP) software

  • Understanding of engineering requirements and operating environments for towers, cameras, backup electrical systems (generators, solar), and operating and maintenance considerations for same, in the temperature extremes associated with remote, harsh desert environments

  • English fluency required; Russian, Arabic, and/or French fluency a plus

  • Position is located in Tunis, Tunisia, with extended deployments to remote border locations (50% or more travel)

  • Must be able to be in-country and working NLT 22 December 2018

  • Capable to develop network diagrams integrating multiple elements on the system.

  • Experience developing technical and training CDRLs.

  • Should have at least 2-year experience working with multiple subcontractors and coordinating their activities.
