AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a
Recruiter I to join its team providing full life-cycle recruiting support. The selected candidate will support CONUS to OCONUS work on our Eagle Afghanistan contract. Source applicants utilizing a variety of recruiting methods including, but not limited to, newspaper advertising, internet sources, colleges, professional publications and associations, and internal and external job fairs. Screen resumes and forward to appropriate hiring managers and/or local HR Representatives. Interview applicants as appropriate. Represent the company at recruiting events including, but not limited to, external job fair(s), on-site job fair(s), and college recruiting event(s). Conduct reference checks on applicants. Prepare job postings and distribute internally and externally. Prepare offer letters in conjunction with HR Representatives. May maintain applicant flow data for AAP. Will be required to establish relationships with Special Operations Military units to provide transitioning briefings to separating services members. Work with local Military Transition organizations to establish strong presence and relationships to foster an environment to market opportunities to transitioning service members.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and at least 1 year job related experience or equivalent.
Active Secret / Tier 3
Recent technical recruiting experience in a challenging, government contracting environment.
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to successfully manage customer relationships.
Experience working with automated applicant tracking systems required, Kenexa Brass Ring experience preferred
Advanced internet recruiting skills and experience.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Strong business acumen, follow-through and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Position may require travel.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience as a military Recruiter or DOD contracting recruiting.
OCONUS experience as a contractor.
Applicant Tracking System experience
