Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and modification of piping systems to include water distribution and sanitary sewer systems.
Interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, waste and drainage systems.
Must be able to do material takeoffs on blue prints.
Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, appurtenances, control valves and hydrants.
Test and inspects piping systems for leaks and performs recurring maintenance as required. Install, inspect, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies liquid fuel storage, distribution, and dispensing systems.
Must be able to climb and work off of ladders, elevated platforms, and wear fall arrest gear.
Must have normal color vision, freedom from fear of heights and confined spaces.
May be required to wear a respirator.
Must stay proficient in CPR.
Must comply with all Safety practices and Environmental regulations.
Must be able to research, specify, and order materials.
Must have proficient computer skills to include MS Office products and use computer based time keeping programs.
Perform all other job duties as assigned.
OSHA-10 card, Construction Industry
UA 21 (Carbon Steel) certification
No rehires, unless approved by local HR/LR and CE Manager.
Must be able to meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance and access to the work location. Must be a United States citizen. Must pass pre-hire drug screening and Fit-for-Duty physical. Must be able to work in a remote location with limited medical personnel and facilities. Will need to bring: Social Security Card, original state issued birth certificate or Naturalization Certificate and valid driver's license and certifications listed in Additional Mandatory Requirements.
