Job Summary

AECOM is hiring a Project Manager, Education Studio for our Buildings+Places practice in NYC. The responsibilities include:

  • Manages numerous projects from smaller and less complex to bigger and more complex. Biggest focus on NYC SCA and DASNY.

  • Fully involved and manages all project phases as a Team Leader from initial kick-off meetings to final Construction Documents.

  • Responsible for providing project guidance, design, drawings, analysis, studies and recommendations for Educational Projects. Manages various size groups of architects, designers, specialists and other trades.

  • Manages estimating process, and doing estimates for smaller projects in house.

  • Fully involved in drawings and specification production, managing all team members.

  • Fully involved and manages BCC filing, and oversees DOB / FDNY filing.

  • Manages numerous projects - from smaller and less complex to bigger and more complex.

  • Biggest focus on NYC SCA and DASNY.

  • Manages coordination with in-house and outside sub-consultants (Struct, M, P, E, FP, FA, etc.)

  • With Studio Leader and assigned DPM, creates and controls project budget and project schedule.

  • Direct meetings with the clients

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS and 4+ years of related experience working on NYC SCA and DASNY projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education

  • Must have Revit, AutoCAD and Sketch Up skills, as well as MS Office including Excel
