Job Summary

The Maryland Transit Department of AECOM is looking for an individual to be part of the Department Management Team with the skills to provide department operational functions, oversight of project managers in meeting company requirements for contract/project management, maintenance of data for reporting to senior management, and support to clients in planning and implementing their programs for transit state-of-good-repairs and/or new major projects.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Provide oversight of department on-call task order contracts (currently 12) and contract/project managers (currently eight).

  • Working with project managers, ensure that all AECOM business management systems are in place and complete.

  • Track department-wide billings and collections, resolve any issues with timely processing, maintain and deliver reports to upper management.

  • Manage the business development database in salesforce, provide summary reports to upper management.

  • Working with project managers and clients, provide program and project management services to deliver their projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree in an Engineering Discipline relevant to Transit (e.g. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Rail)

  • 8 plus years of related experience or demonstrated the equivalency of experience and/or education

  • AECOM Certified Project Manager

  • Knowledge of AECOM business processes and procedures such as ePM, ABC, AGIS and AECOM Bid Model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering License or ability to attain

  • Project Management Professional Certification or ability to attain

  • AECOM Superuser training for ePM
