The RMS IT End User Services department is looking for a well-organized, self-motivated, project coordinator. The Project Coordinator will work with End User Services Technical Lead and adjunct team to organize and coordinate all RMS User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Operating System patches, updates, Raycerts and Application pushes scheduled for deployment to the RMS environment. Additional tasks include adding and removing desktops and users in Active Directory related to UAT testing procedures. Utilizing RMS guidelines, processes and procedures, the Project Coordinator will also be responsible for completing End User requests for desktop computer peripherals upgrades and enhancements in addition to procuring quotes and submitting IT Acquisitions for hardware associated with upgrades and enhancements up to and including high end engineering workstations vetted and configured by the end User Services Technical Lead.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Effectively manage multiple deployments simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interface with internal customers, management and outside vendors

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory
  • Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Raytheon UAT process for Operating System Patches, Updates, Raycerts, Applications and Upgrades
  • Communicate and Coordinate UAT test plans to identified RMS UAT Users
  • Identify and engage appropriate technical and business resources for UAT Issues
  • Ability to add/remove participating RMS UAT users in Identified Active Directory locations
  • Follow Raytheon Deployment Review Board (DRB) guidelines and procedures
  • Attend DRB for deployment schedules
  • Effectively manage multiple deployments simultaneously

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management and related discipline plus 2 years related experience. Related work experience may be substituted for degree.
