Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community
Raytheon is currently seeking an IT Specialist to provide planning, oversight and coordination for change and configuration management activities. Candidate must have intermediate experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) change and configuration management processes. This position requires that the candidate interact with senior customers as well as senior Raytheon personnel. The candidate will be expected to fill in for the Change Management lead when that person is unavailable. The Environment fluctuates between routine and urgent, depending on ongoing tasks, priorities, and performance of assigned systems. Call in support in certain cases may be required. This position requires a BS Degree in a related discipline, and minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Experience working with stakeholders to refine change requirements
Experience coordinating input for the creation of Request For Change (RFC)
Experience participating in decommissioning systems
Excellent communication and customer interaction skills speaking to key technical issues in laymen terms
Experience negotiating with diverse personalities to achieve program goals
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Must be a team player that is willing to provide support to a variety of tasks and to support unplanned high priority customer activities
Must be available to work occasional overtime as required
Must possess strong customer service and teaming skills, proven customer interaction and customer support experience
Experience working in an Enterprise Tiered support environment
ITIL 2011 Foundation Certificate
Experience managing software licenses
Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph are required.
