Job Summary
We are looking for agile tax experts to join our 20 plus member Tax Team. Utilize your tax knowledge along with your analytical and problem-solving skills while working for a dynamic and energized Fortune 500 company. We will help you develop through different experiences and projects in all areas of tax including federal, state, local and international compliance, provision projects, controversy and planning. We will also provide continuing professional education. Position Responsibilities
As a Senior Tax Analyst at Conagra Brands, you will be responsible for complex projects related to application of tax laws and preparation of one or all of the following: federal, state, local or international tax returns, under limited supervision.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist in the completion of tax filings for the Company’s consolidated group as well as for several joint ventures.
Assist with controversy matters including responding to auditor information requests and completing tax analysis.
Research and develop supportable tax positions on transactions occurring throughout the year.
Identify and assist with process improvement projects.
Gain exposure and assist in:
Management and risk mitigation in all areas of tax.
Tax accounting under ASC 740 for the tax liabilities of the Company
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with Accounting Emphasis.
Advanced degree, CPA or other professional designation preferred.
At least 3 years of professional accounting experience required, with experience in tax
Public accounting experience preferred.
Proven ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion in a deadline driven environment.
Strong research, writing, and communication skills
Demonstrable strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to balance attention to detail with broader goals and time limitations.
Proven ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast paced environment.
Proven oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability as a team player and leader.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite, electronic tax research tools (eg: BNA, RIA), and tax compliance and provision software (eg: CorpTax, OneSource).
