AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager in Charleston, SC. The appropriately qualified applicant will have demonstrated experience in project management, business development, design and analysis for transportation projects.
Lead engineering teams consisting of entry-level engineers and technicians to develop roadway design plans for transportation projects for SCDOT and municipalities.
Oversee the work of engineers and technicians to ensure quality design and analysis work consistent with current SCDOT and AASHTO policies and guidelines
Perform project scoping and budget development for transportation projects
Participate in Client meetings and public meetings as part of transportation design projects
Responsible for tracking budgets and schedules for projects.
Responsible for identifying potential pursuits, marketing clients and leading proposal efforts.
Minimum Requirements include:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
South Carolina PE or ability to obtain through reciprocity in 3 months is required.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience working on transportation projects
Ability to scope/estimate complex transportation projects
Ability to Track and manage project budgets and schedules
Ability to supervise entry-level engineers.
Good computer skills using a spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software
Proficient in appropriate technical analysis software
Must be able to work well in a team environment
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills
?Diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas related to highway geometric design, traffic analysis, intersection design, utilities, infrastructure, earthwork, drainage and streetscape
Valid driver's license required
