Reviews and coordinates complex activities related to asset management and operating businesses in support of US Government O&M contracts. Provides operations support to the CE Manager by tracking and monitoring work load factors, asset statuses and maintenance activities, analyzing asset data trends and anomalies, and other related issues. Prepares briefing material and attends client meetings related to asset management.
Develops and maintains a variety of manual and automated tracking and monitoring systems for all assets on the contract, tracks asset additions and reductions from the contract, and other services and support procured by Asset Management.
Assists in the development and revision of asset management approaches, policies, and procedures. Prepares a wide variety of documents, reports and presentations. Maintains all asset management documentation.
Works on special projects related to asset management activities on an as needed basis.
Utilizes Maximo or similar databases to track assets and develop a Preventative Maintenance program.
Proficient in the use and development of excel, SharePoint and other software to track assets and analyze data for statistical trends.
Functions as a member of the CE leadership team to resolve operational issues associated with the maintenance of the asset records.
Provides functional support to CE shop supervisors and planning to ensure asset records are maintained and the correct level of maintenance is performed in accordance with contractual requirements.
Coordinates and manages the development of Job Plans for new assets or systems added to the contract.
Assist in the development of cost proposals for added assets or changes in contract Work Load Factor (WLF).
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work is performed in a variety of settings including an office environment, warehouse, and outside in a variety of weather conditions. This position requires travel and physical exertion at various times. Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 30-40 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military training and work experience. Possess 5 years of related experience with an understanding of O&M contract asset management. Strong analytical, writing and communication skills. Requires knowledge of operating application software including word-processing, databases, spreadsheet programs, and SharePoint. Working knowledge of MS Access a plus. Must qualify for and maintain a Secret security clearance and program access. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
