Overview
FTI has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager at Wright Patterson AFB in the Air Force (AF) B-2 System Program Office in order to meet current and projected workload requirements in support of Air Force Program Executive Officer for Fighters and Bombers (AFPEO/FB), the Government must augment its organic (military and civil service) capabilities in the B2 Division (AFLCMC/WWQ). This is an opportunity to be a key contributor to the success of a high profile program.
Responsibilities
The candidate will have the ability to advise, coordinate and integrate geographically disparate groups of stakeholders and programs on behalf of the US GOVT client. Responsible for overseeing cost, schedule and performance support services for a variety of advanced avionics technologies in support of the B-2 Defensive Management System- Modernization (DMS-M) program, a US Air Force CAT 1 Acquisition program.
Perform, as required, a non-voting, advisory role for program deliberations on all program-related requirements.
Participate in process improvement activities as members of, or advisors to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups.
Maintain schedule for two mission planning efforts within DMS-M
Advise government leadership on program and schedule related issues.
Assist with the development of documents, such as, but not limited to, Memorandum of Agreements, Memorandum of Understandings (MOA/MOU), Statements of Objectives (SOO), PWSs, Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Mission Needs Statements, Operational Requirements Documents (ORD), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD)/Capability Production Documents (CPD), Milestone Documentation, Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), Price and Availability and Analysis of Alternatives.
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities (including System-of-Systems and Families-of-Systems), systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Education/Qualifications
Current Secret security clearance with SSBI eligiblity is required
Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance required
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution
5+ years’ experience in software, Air Force mission planning process and development; (JUMPS)
15+ years’ experience in U.S. Air Force acquisition process.
10+ years’ experience with business process optimization, supplier/subcontractor management, financial/cost management, field support and readiness management
Level II or above certification in Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
