Our teams have worked on signature projects for major commercial, themed entertainment and government clients. The Project Manager is expected to lead projects and help manage the deliverables for a wide range of project types and sizes through all phases of design, documentation, and construction. This person would typically be staffed on 1-3 projects at a time depending on complexity and size of teams.
Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Work with regional leadership on targeted pursuits and business development efforts related to Federal clients.
Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of architecture.
Plans and develops architecture/engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field.
Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Manages group of architects and/or designers, coordinating activities of the unit.
Position is open to relocation from other geographic areas.
Bachelors Degree in Architecture and 8 years of related experience
Must be a licensed Architect
This person will have direct contact with Agency Leadership and is expected to work independently.
Experience leading programming and design development workshops with clients, users, maintainers and designers.
Participated on and managed multi-discipline design teams for projects of $10 million or greater construction value.
Experience with high performance and sustainable building requirements and third party certification programs
5+ years Federal experience, NAVFAC, USACE, VAMC, DOD or USAF experience preferred.
BIM, Revit, CADD Experience
A secret or Top secret clearance
