We are actively seeking a talented Sr. Wayfinding Designer for immediate employment in our Orlando, Fl office.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly creative, highly motivated and collaborative designer with experience in a variety of markets. Time management and strong organization skills are required to handle multiple tasks to meet demanding deadlines. Strong communication, verbal, written and presentation skills. Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of professional disciplines, peers and clients with a positive attitude.

Thorough experience with signage fabrication, installation techniques, materials and construction specifications is required. Strong sense of design for three-dimensional context and environments. Ability to develop signage programming plans and prepare message schedules for complex wayfinding projects. Knowledge of how to prepare and document signage packages from concept to bid. Ability to prepare production-ready art files for fabrication. Capable of reading and understanding architectural drawings. Understands ADA and code requirements and how it is applied to wayfinding. Responsible for designing and managing wayfinding and signage projects from concept to installation. Ability to lead and inspire less experienced team members.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in industrial design, communication/graphic design, experience design, architecture, digital media, urban design, or comparable field

  • 8 years minimum full-time employment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal/written skills in order to communicate effectively with clients, fabricators and other team members.

  • Solid knowledge of materials and fabrication/installation methods used in wayfinding and signage

  • Expertise in Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD Tools(SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit a plus)

  • ADA and building code knowledge/experience
