Job Summary

The Role

AECOM’s Transportation Team in Auckland has an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career. As a senior professional, you will be providing the technical expertise for the design and delivery of the roading/highways elements of transport infrastructure projects through the pre-implementation and implementation phases. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will coordinate the integration of designs with other disciplines including geotechnical, lighting, stormwater, structures and urban design, enabling you to broaden your skill set and build relationships between groups and offices.

Minimum Requirements

About You

This role is suitable for an individual who is looking to take the next step in their professional career. You will be a highly driven engineer who is looking for an opportunity to mentor junior team members and implement succession planning, whilst developing your own skill set and portfolio. You will also have:

  • 8+ years’ demonstrated experience in Civil Engineering (including safety barrier designs , NZ signs and linemarking designs) in the transport infrastructure space - essential,

  • Experience in a consulting environment – highly desirable;

  • Experience in delivering medium to large transport projects to across New Zealand – highly desirable;

  • Experience in the administration and supervision of construction contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering – or similar;

  • RPEQ & CPEng (or working towards.)
