As a long term incumbent and leader in test pilot instruction, the selected applicant will work within the Test Pilot School environment composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting flight test instruction. ABOUT THIS POSITION This aircrew position supports Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two Zero (VX-20) E-2C/D developmental test and evaluation at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD. As part of the world’s largest independent flight test organization supporting both US Government and commercial agencies you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR aircrew services team that has provided over 35 continuous years of E2/C2 flight test support to VX-20 at Patuxent River. As the long term incumbent and leader in E2/C2 flight test support, the selected applicant will work within an Integrated Test Team environment composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting customer flight test objectives across a diverse range of technical projects. Responsibilities include the development of test plans, pre-flight mission planning, mission briefing, weapon system operator duties during flight test missions and simulator evaluations, mission debriefing, drafting post-flight reports/deficiencies and participation in technical meetings. Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic travel will be required in support of flight test activities and detachments.
