Title:

Aegis BMD Modeling and Simulation Analyst

KBRwyle is seeking an Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analyst in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) Navy Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COTF). The BMDS is an integrated, “layered” architecture that provides multiple opportunities to destroy missiles and their warheads before they can reach their targets. The task covers analyst support for operational test and evaluation of the AEGIS BMD and Aegis Ashore weapon system configurations. The successful candidates will perform analysis of Aegis BMD system M&S. Specific tasks include the following: Ensure that M&S development complies with defined processes; Assess ability of M&S to meet specified performance parameters and assessment criteria in accordance with intended use; Perform verification and validation analysis and report results to leadership; Assist with securing accreditation of M&S for use in operational test events. Maintain an Aegis BMD M&S database to track configuration and accreditation status.

Technical writing skills and experience with DoD developmental testing, integrated testing, and operational testing and evaluation are required.

Works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems.Clearance Level: S, TS, TS/SCIBachelor's Degree in Engineering/Math/Science with 5+ years of directly related experience is required.Prior Ballistic Missile Defense System modeling and simulation, Missile Defense Agency, and/or Aegis ballistic missile defense weapons system experience desired.
