Title:

Program Planning and Cost Control Analyst

Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organization. Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports. Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls. Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advances skills.

Track subcontractor costs and prepare monthly accruals. Prepare monthly internal/external financial and program deliverables. Ability to interface with the customer and internal stakeholders such as contracts, subcontracts, and purchasing. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is important. Must be proficient in excel with knowledge of Cost Point and Cognos.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
