Generator/Maintenance Mechanic Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a variety of equipment which includes: Generators Light sets, Compressors Ground Storage Units, and Electric switch gear. Works under limited supervision. Requires demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and maintain all types of equipment, and diesel powered engines. Installs specified new or reconditioned parts and/or makes required adjustments and reassembles complete unit. Disassembles engines and mechanical units to inspect parts and operating defects. Executes required preventive maintenance procedures. Performs inspectionsrequired by the company or government. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations. Proficiency is typically gained through 24-36 months experience. - 2+ years of experience in Power Generation and Equipment maintenance. - Must have experience with 500 KW & above generators. Additional requirements: - Must hold a NACI - Must be fluent in English. - Must possess US passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining - Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity - Must be able to drive a manual shift vehicle
