The Financial Planning organization has a rare opportunity for a strong, experienced analyst. This role offers an opportunity to be exposed to multiple metrics (including programmatic) across all product lines. This offers a unique opportunity to build an extensive network, and gain insight into the critical elements of business processes, strategy and reporting. A proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting will then enable the candidate to streamline, automate and mold our processes and tools to achieve the quickest, most accurate outcomes. This role will informally report through one of two FP&A central leads, and will gain invaluable exposure to the key metrics managed specifically by that team.

The person chosen for this role will:

Obtain a breadth of knowledge for all intricacies related to coordinating, consolidating, scoping, and planning various BSEC metrics, Monthly Operations Reviews, and CFO package

Attain proficiency in AOP (Annual Operating Plan), 5YP (5 Year Plan), other ancillary metrics and overall business strategy under the FP&A umbrella.

Proactively lead self-initiated analysis, solve problems, and resolve issues

Review satellite site financial forecasts, evaluate and articulate metric implications

Partner with programs, accounting, FP&A and various satellite sites by coordinating and communicating monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc deadlines

Willingness to explore and embrace change, including tool implementations

Ensure that all assignments are prioritized and completed on schedule with adequate time allotted for management review

Prepare detailed analysis, but reflect in a succinct, organized summary for upper management

Manage special projects and other assignments, as required (accounting, tiger teams, etc.)

Prepare and present executive level presentations (present at FP&A staff, NEO training, etc.)

Network and build contacts cross functionally, across other Raytheon Business Units, and Corporate

Assist with quarter close requirements (Corporate deliverables, PwC, etc.)

Highly Desired Skills:

Ability to understand high level metrics strategy and interdependencies across programs, resource planning, rates/budgets, capital, etc

Strong communication and organizational skills – must have the ability and confidence to speak up and share opinions in a professional manner with every level of management.

Effectively lead and be a value added participant in meetings

Extremely organized; can easily track various revision scenarios, deliverables and evolving priorities

Confident level of exposure to reportable metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash)

Proficient in using/navigating SAP and various tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Analysis for Office, BW, etc.)

Aptitude for excelling in a dynamic team environment and individually/independently when necessary

Experience in program or functional finance; cognizant of nuances in contract types, EAC’s, earned value and other key performance indices

Self-directed, able to take charge and move forward with little to no direction

Do you have theses minimum requirements?

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or Economics or a related field, a minimum of 4 years related experience or related Master Degree and 2 years of related experience

Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Capable of handling a high stress environment with frequent ad-hoc requests that require adaptability and reprioritization of tasks under a tight timeline
