SIGN-ON BONUS OPPORTUNITY
Work with various discipline engineers to complete weapons and combat system-level analyses with respect to the safe design, development, operation, and demilitarization. Develop documentation and presentation materials for milestone events, review boards, and meetings. Complete additional tasking associated with the conduct of the safety program which may include research, evaluation of known safety problems, assessment of requirements, review of test documentation, etc. Demonstrated ability to lead and/or interact with a technical team. Demonstrated ability to plan, communicate, and execute. Domain-level experience, including fleet combat information center operations and weapon systems, is a plus. Knowledge of Military Standard 882 is desired, but not required.
A Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline, at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent; OR US Naval operational experience at the E6 level or higher and least 10 years of operational experience. Excellent communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. The position may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
