Raytheon IDS Integrated Air and Missile Defense is seeking an experienced Program Manager (Manager III) for a strategically important established program known as the Air & Missile Defense Capability Program (AMDC). This role will be located in the Raytheon Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Please Note - U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Specific Tasks Include:
Ensure compliance with ITAR and Export requirements.
Accountable and responsible for executing all programs and captures within the IAMD IBCS Program.
Sets business strategy, vision, and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional team(s) and sub-contractors with operations in Andover MA and other RTN/supplier/Customer locations.
Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including EVMS, IPDS, PRISM, etc.
Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of contract commitments.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with customer. Responsible for supporting regular reporting to executive leadership on program performance, AOP forecasting, monthly MORs and quarterly EACs.
Collaborates with senior cross-business team and integrated-business team leadership to ensure the application of appropriate support resources to overall Business/Program execution efforts.
Ensures alignment of human and capital resource requirements to achieve contract (s) performance.
Manages all efforts to successfully complete contract award fee standards and events with maximum scores.
10 years total professional experience with 6-8 years of program management or related business experience.
PMX Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain
Existing Secret Clearance (DOD). US Citizenship required.
Demonstrated experience in leading a programmatically complex/strategic program
Experience in building and leading high performance and diverse/distributed teams.
Demonstrated experience interacting and influencing customers
Demonstrated experience in managing cost, schedule and technical performance for a large program.
Demonstrated experience in planning and meeting five year plans and AOPs.
Demonstrated understanding and proficient use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Math or Business
12+ years of Program Management in the Defense Industry
Demonstrated direct experience managing people or resources in organizations with budgets exceeding $200M
Experience with FMS contracts
Cyber Security experience
Demonstrated experience with Radar production
Demonstrated experience with subcontract and IOT management
Demonstrated experience with Hardware Development
Demonstrated experience as a change agent, able to energize organizations to achieve beyond expectations
Ability to quickly diagnose production issues and lead a cross functional team to resolve
Demonstrated ability to independently complete complex assignments and develop creative cross mission area solutions
Demonstrated experience with Gate Reviews
Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills
Possesses in depth understanding of the DOD environment and acquisition process
Accomplished in the use of MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS Project.
Experience with collaboration tools such as OneIDE and RShare
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time critical requirements.
Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional
Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to fulfill their needs and ensure their satisfaction and continued business
Demonstrated experience in strategic development, customer interface, or capture experience in the Defense Industry
Demonstrated experience and accomplished leadership and management skills in technical, programmatic and customer focused marketing
organizations such as contracts, finance, integrated supply chain, operations and mission assurance.
Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team as well as the customer.
Excellent written and oral communications including presentation skills.
Expertise in Program Management best practices and IPDS
Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership
Knowledge of EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, IMP/IMS
Master Degree in Engineering, Science, Math or Business
