Job Summary

Source top talent to include at the executive level.  Review job descriptions, organizational charts and department structure to understand position and business requirements. Source candidates, screen resumes, interview candidates, extend job offers while remaining compliant with OFCCP requirements.  Collaborate  with hiring managers and formulate sourcing strategies to fill corporate positions with the goal of future retention of top talent.  Provide input to HR/Hiring Manager regarding offer elements and structure.

Principal Accountabilities


  • Source and evaluates qualified candidates resumes from job boards, through advanced resume search techniques and networks

  • Assists with building a strong network of application sources (universities, organizations, trade schools, etc.) to ensure a consistent qualified pool of candidates for available positions
  • Responsible for screening of candidates, ensuring they meet minimum qualification guidelines for each role and are able to become a valuable contributor to the team
  • Engages in courteous and respectful interactions with managers, supervisors, co-workers and business associates to promote a professional image of the organization
  • Coordinate between key leaders and administrative staff to plan interviews that are in line with DynCorp’s hiring standards and appropriate for the positions in question.
  • Support candidates through the core team interview process as their primary point of contact and stay in touch with interviewers to collect feedback and ensure the interview funnel is executed well in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the integrity of the Personal History File (PHF) to be given to the operating department within assigned department.
  • Performs comprehensive background checks

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to communicate well and influence individuals via the telephone or internet.
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting field, technical requirements and ability to match candidates
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MicroSoft applications.


  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of employment laws.
  • Primary responsibilities of this position will be to support all center of excellence efforts
  • Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, DOL and state laws as they pertain to the recruiting function.
  • Knowledge and experience with applicant tracking and human resources information systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Taleo preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Typically requires eight (8) years experience working in corporate recruiting environment that is specialized to the department’s area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. 
  • Two (2) years experience in recruiting field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years college.  
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with additional value placed on degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
