Take your career to a new level with ManTech!  ManTech is seeking a Sr. Program Security Officer (Sr. PSO) Proposal Coordinator at our Herndon facility who is looking for an exciting new opportunity to display their skills in support of a diverse contracts with multiple government agencies. 


  • Individual will be the focal point for all Security Volumes or Security responses to RFPs, RFIs, and ECPs
  • Must possess strong written communication skills and have the ability to write and communicate complex concepts to government customers and technical staff
  • Individual must be well-rounded in their understanding of Security with solid experience in Program Security and writing Security Volumes for various government Agencies.  The position requires an individual be a self-starter and able to perform professionally with little to no supervision and be required to hit the ground running.
  • Candidate requires a strong working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoDM5205.07, and ICDs, to include multiple Personnel Security systems of records such as Scattered Castles and JPAS
  • Individual will require understanding of all security disciplines such as Personnel Security, Physical Security and Information Systems Security in order to formulate a fully compliant Security response to RFPs, RFIs and ECPs 
  • Position requires a current BI, completed within the past five years, and adjudicated at the TS/SCI level

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Authoring Security Volumes for multiple government Agencies
  • Maintaining Security Volume submissions by Customers
  • Tracking Security Clearance Matrix
  • Administering Proposal Briefings
  • Interpreting RFP, RFI, ECP Security Requirements
  • Maintaining Master Proposal Support Tracker

Candidate should have a minimum of 5-8 years security experience with Bachelor’s Degree, but will consider equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
