Job Description: Senior Industrial Security Specialist will monitor and manage security SCI and SAP programs, staff and provide status reports and recommendations for decisions. Assist, collaborate, and coordinate with other Sponsor Security offices and divisions and develop solutions conveying them to internal and external Customers. Provide agency level technical expertise concerning the identified Security disciplines. Provide security guidance to contractors using DoD and IC regulations and requirements along with analyzing complex data and making appropriated program recommendations. Responsible for developing/creating, implementing and administering security plans, CONOPS, policies and procedures supporting mission operations. Prepare and disseminate security procedures/guidance. Investigate and prepare security reports, and provide recommendations on security infractions/security violations, providing guidance as required in implementing security requirements. Manage project milestones, along with updating and maintaining appropriate records (e.g. database and hard copy) of security actions. Conduct self inspections and provide reports to Customer Security. Act as liaise with members of the DoD, the IC and other officials as required to keep abreast of current security requirements. Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials, acting as liaison between Sponsor and other federal agencies and contractors. Prepare both SCI and collateral materials for shipment to other agencies/sites IAW applicable security handling procedures. Prepare outgoing classified messages on employees/ contractor visiting other government facilities. Responsible for risk management, conducting surveys and rendering impact statements or recommendations. Prepare and deliver briefings to internal and external customers with ability to use various forms of correspondence. Develop the required program/operation to support tasks/requirements. Prepare cost analyses for security projects. Monitor security applications through the review and analysis appropriate metrics, maintaining required records. Provide COMSEC support to the COMSEC Responsible Officer. Support FEOTB requirements to include developing RFP Security Volumes/Plans. Must apply experience in supporting security concepts, principles and principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security issues.

Required Skills:

  • US Citizenship with an active and current TS/SCI withPoly
  • Expertise in Program Security with understanding of Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security, Information Assurance Security, COMSEC, Data Management, Subcontractor Management and Security Awareness Training and Education
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Good oral and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to adapt changing work environments as needed to be successful
  • Proven ability to successfully work under pressure
  • Well organized with proven ability to prioritize on a daily basis
Desired Skills:
  • SAP and SCI Security experience

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelors Degree related to Security and/or Business Management; equivalent experience in military, civil or Industrial Security will be 12 years experience in lieu of degree
