Job Summary

This position hours of operation will be on 2nd Shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is in support of the AECOM Contract with DLA Distribution Hill, Utah. The position will have duties with the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) automates the process of imaging supply documents at the Distribution Depots by providing an automated scanning, storage, retrieval and records management resource. Must sort and organize MRO’s, 1348’s, 1149’s, CBL’s, GBL’s and other government documents. Requires daily travel from work location to EDMS facility located on the base. Works under the supervision of a designated lead, supervisor or manager. Must have valid driver’s license.

Essential Responsibilities:

1.Must possess knowledge of documents associated with receiving, transportation, packing, and inventory departments

2.Must possess knowledge of inspections/examination procedures for material

3.Must possess knowledge of research techniques for unmarked/defective material requiring identification

4.Must sort and organize government documents

5.Must have good driving record.

6.Pick-up and delivery documents to and from warehouse locations and DEMS facility

7.Load material on and off of skids, pallets, stands

8.Prepare labels as required

9.Operates tools and equipment in performance of duties

10.Operates MHE as assigned and hold appropriate license

11.Prepares reports and charts as required.

12.Count, weight, record data, apply tags and labels

13.

14.Secures loads, performs rigging, blocking and bracing as necessary

Receives data from and input data to DSS and other automated systems in performance of duties

Assists in the maintenance of current files of all technical documents, instructions, procedures and requirements necessary for implementation of an effective quality assurance program.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Shop environment in with hazardous equipment, Moving MHE, obstacles and high volume of activity. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, have full dexterity, and correctable vision. Outside work in hot and cold or wet weather is often required. Work environment often has fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is loud. Protective devices are required to avoid injury.In some location, this position requires the candidate to be available, on short notice, to work all shifts in multiple work areas as required. Frequent evenings and Saturday shifts may be required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) months general work experience which will demonstrate ability to perform requirements of position.

  • No specific experience required.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • May substitute experience for education at the rate of one year of general experience for one year of high school. Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.

  • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a National Agency Check.

  • Must have valid driver's license

Must be a United States citizen.
