Job Summary

AECOM Mexico has an immediate need for a HSSE Supervisor, as it has been awarded a corporate building renovation and construction projects in Mexico City. The idea person will have experience working on corporate office buildings involving design, renovation and construction.

Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee and manage the project site’s compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environmental) standards in all levels required by law.

  • Is aware and responsible for complying with Safety as per AECOM’s and project specifics requirements and policies.

  • Supervises the Construction Works of Civil, Architectural and Mechanical packages, making sure that they meet the HSSE Standards and requirements

  • Provides day to day support, information and reports as required for meetings, coordination and resolution of HSSE issues

  • Manages the contract of selected contractors. Reports and approves Safety stats as needed.

  • Carry out QA checks of documentation completed by producing required HSSE files and their required support as per Client’s requirements

  • Maintain a reliable and consistent written and verbal communication interface with Client, Technicians, Engineers and Contractors

  • Liaison with other contractors, companies, suppliers and internal / external multi-disciplined engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong skills in written and spoken communication in English and Spanish highly desirable
