Missile Systems is the world’s largest producer of advanced missile systems supporting our US warfighters and international allies. Every missile system contains a set of purpose designed electrical subsystems. These subsystems enable the guidance, navigation, signal processing, target detection and tracking functions of the missile. The Electrical Subsystems Directorate (ESD) is responsible for all aspects of these subsystems including design, test and production.
The Strategic and Naval Systems (SNS) department with the Electrical Subsystems Directorate (ESD) Subsystems Center (SSC) is looking for Production Support Engineers responsible for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and other electrical subsystems hardware. We are seeking candidates with the skills and passion to engineer complex systems, subsystems, circuit card assemblies and components.
The SNS product line offers a complete family of mission solutions to the United States military and allies around the world. Our products, technology and people have made Missile Systems the preferred provider of mission defense systems and the leader in naval air defense. Our products include the SM-3® Interceptor which destroys short to intermediate range ballistic missiles, the SM-6 Missile which destroys cruise missiles and ballistic missiles in their final stage of flight from land or at sea, and Kill Vehicles which use sensors, lenses and rocket thrusters to pick out warheads, steer into their paths and destroy long-range ballistic missiles in space.
A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. A candidate willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred.
Required Education (including Major):
