Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION : Calibrate and repair electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and RF and Microwave measuring and test equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Essential/Typical Duties:
Follow documented procedures to calibrate and adjust electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and RF and Microwave measuring and test equipment.
Assist in developing and validating new measurement methods, calibration procedures, and measurement uncertainty budgets.
Non-Essential Duties:
Minimum Requirements
Experience and Education
Other relevant DOD technical training and five (5) years of experience in calibration
A two (2) year technical college or university program in science technology, or math and five (5) years of experience in calibration
Ten (10) years of experience working in a calibration laboratory in the physical, mechanical, and dimensional disciplines.
aerospace environment is highly desirable.
Applicants must provide proof of education, training, and experience.
Basic Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be eligible for, or have successfully completed a National Agency Check Investigation within the last ten (10) years.
Employability in the U.S. and pre-employment drug screen required.
Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to use a personal computer in the performance of automated calibration processes and for workload management and tracking as required.
