Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking qualified Health, Safety, and Environment Representative at our NAS Lemoore, CA aircraft maintenance support facility. The HSE Representative is responsible for following trends and implementing processes and programs to improve safety performance by assuring the elimination of hazards and/or potential hazards in the work place. Leads and coordinates activities in accordance with negotiated contracts; statement of Work (SOW), and company policies and procedures. This candidate must have the ability to work in a team of support personnel to meet operational objectives. Monitors flight line, hangar bay and all workspaces to ensure work is being done safely and efficiently. Ensures safety violations are fixed on the spot and each employee is working on assigned tasks when not on break or lunch, to accomplish assigned contracted work. Ensure employees are working within the confines of the contract for assigned work. Provides administrative support to staff as required. High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
Recognizes, evaluates, recommends and implements policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with HSE requirements of the organization.
Responsible for monitoring and preventing chemical, biological, and physical hazards present throughout work sites.
Reviews and incorporates health standards published by regulatory authorities.
Work with QA division to ensure that quality control procedures are established to monitor all aspects of regulations coincide with OHSA, Customer directives, and Corporate Safety Policies.
Directs audits of health and safety programs
Develops and provides basic ES&H training to employees.
Promotes communication programs to enhance and encourage employee awareness of accident and fire prevention, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance.
Performs work which involves a variety of functions that require a broad range of expertise and excellent communication skills.
Performs under minimal supervision and exercises independent judgment in problem resolution
Adjusts to changing conditions and occasionally works off-shift, holidays, and weekends
Maintains high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Performs additional duties as directed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience and 3 years of related experience; strong analytical and communication skills required.
Excellent customer service skills, the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision required.
Position may require a valid driver's license and does require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and possess the ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency when required.
Proficiency with internet search engines, electronic mail systems, word processing applications, Excel databases and PDF files required. Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to listen and communicate effectively.
Ability to pass and maintain U.S. Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of Course Number C-600-3000D Aircraft Confined Space Program.
Current or prior Confined space Authorized Entrant.
Current or prior MultiRAE PGM 50 or Lite PGM 6208 Designation.
Program Manager/Monitor experience.
Two (2) Years of QA experience as a full systems QAR.
Current OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certification.
