Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration services for all database servers.
  • Perform MS SQL, Oracle database system installation upgrade and configuration to include security fixes.
  • Coordinate the data administration technical function for database development and maintenance.
  • Facilitate change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, programmers, analysts, and engineers.
  • Establish and enforces processes to ensure a consistent, well managed, and well-integrated database infrastructure.
  • Analyze and identifies data and metadata requirements.
  • Define user requirements and database design specifications.
  • Provide product support and maintenance of databases.
  • Performs database design and implementation.
  • Prepares/implements data verification and testing methods for the databases.  
  • Provide administrative support specifically dedicated to the requirements of the project team.
  • Perform data entry, queries data research and reports generation activities.
  • Monitor database usage and statistics

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of relational database environment. the implementation of changes or new database designs.
  • Knowledge of relational database environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Certification in Oracle, SQL preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Must have active interim Secret clearance or above
  • Must be able to travel at least 25%
