Candidate shall support the Air Vehicle/Store Compatibility Support Branch as the Branch Head’s assistant. Duties include:

  • facilities upkeep and repair
  • tool room control and inventory
  • supply inventory control and storage
  • database management
  • forklift operations
  • KGR / KSR moment of inertia machine maintainer repairer and operator
  • 3-D printer and Laser engraver maintainer

Candidate will not need aircraft electrical expertise, but should be a “jack-of-all-trades” able to maintain and assist with Branch tasks including:

  • tool inventory
  • supply control
  • facility upkeep and maintenance
  • using moment of inertia machines 

Other Functions Include:

  • Leads the execution of complex tasks.
  • Applies engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.
  • Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
  • Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.
  • Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
  • Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.

Expiernece:

10 years’ experience total experience in any combination/all of the following:

  • Tool & Supply inventory control and maintenance
  • KGR / KSR moment of inertia machine operator and maintenance
  • Fork lift operator

Database like software (e.g. Excel, Access, etc.)
