NSMS (Naval Standard Missile Systems) Portfolio the Standard Missile 2 Blk IIIC Business Office is seeking an experienced Finance team member to join the program as an Earned Value Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for all Earned Value Metrics and submissions for monthly CDRLs required by the contract.

The position to be filled is a key and integral role in the success of the development program, which is focused on integrating a new capability into the Standard Missile portfolio. The success of this program ensures the future of this Standard Missile legacy program and enhances the future business ensuring years to come of program success. The position includes responsibility for partnering with Program management to manage Earned Value (EV) baseline; develop, present and defend quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC); and forecast manpower, sales, earnings and cash. The candidate will coordinate development of EACs and sales forecasts for a complex project and will be the focal point for financial communication with the customer. Also providing analysis of EV metrics and weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide guidance to Program and Business management. The candidate will be required to closely monitor funding, invoicing, management reserve and award fees and keep management informed of status. The candidate needs to have experience with Integrated Program Management Reporting (IPMR), all formats, and Contractor Cost Data Reporting (CCDR). The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, Program and Finance leadership and the customer.

Do you meet these minium requirements?

  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Professional experience in applications of Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Cost and Schedule integration and must be EVMS certified
  • 4 years’ experience in a finance or business management role, related bachelor’s degree in business, math, accounting finance and proven ability to
    • contribute to development of new concepts, techniques or standards
    • perform work without appreciable direction
    • develop solutions to complex problems
    • serve as consultant to management
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in SAP and Microsoft Office tools

    • direct communication with Government customers
