LCIV IJP Poland: HR Generalist

HR Generalist

Candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources functions, from hiring, employee relations, travel, training and development and employment law. Under general direction of Task Order HR Supervisor, the HR Generalist will oversee and assist with the day to day operations of the HR function in support of TO 10. Position will be located in Poland.

HRG is also responsible for the administration of KBR Human Resources Policies, procedures and programs; Assist employees and facilitate resolution of concerns (payroll, benefits, etc.); Suggest solutions and make recommendations for senior management when issues need to be escalated. Ensure that all HR activity is conducted within the bounds of KBR HR processes and procedures.

HR Responsibilities will include processing employee actions (benefits, payroll, leaves, etc.) with a specific focus on:

Task Order TDY Exercise Staffing

Review BOE and assist in identification of required staffing and approvals

Identify visa requirements if any and coordinate with HRD and HR Supervisor

Work with IHR to provide required documents for TDY visa support

Coordinate with other TO’s Ops and HR for mobilization and demobilization of TDY support.

Employee Relations Actions:

Address counseling’s, complaints, disputes, concerns.

Travel to different sites for inquiries and conduct classroom trainings if/as necessary to including new employee orientations (onboarding).

Conduct low level investigations into employee concerns. Document with HRIR

Draft administrative actions where required

Process findings through TO10 HR Supervisor and Sr. HR Manager for further action.

Policy interpretations, in coordination with TO0010 HR Supervisor and Sr. HR Manager.

Processing Compensation and Benefits actions and coordination/distribution of actions

Tax Forms

Benefits Concerns, Issues, Interaction with Benefits team.

Address Changes, Personal Data updates in SAP.

Position will require travel/driving in Europe to various sites as identified by HR Supervisor and TOM

Education :

A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational development preferred. 7+ years successful generalist experience required.

Skills required:

Communication skills: good listening, speaking, presentation and writing skills.

Demonstrated success in working with various levels of management to impact HR success HRIS proficient – SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.

Organizational skills: must be able to easily access and store many types of information on a daily basis.

Confidentiality: handles confidential and sensitive information that must not be shared with others.

Skilled in all Microsoft Office programs

Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive in Europe
