Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a talented administrative assistant in the Glen Allen, Virginia office location. This position will be an integral part of the AECOM Transportation Business Line providing Administrative support for the Transportation State Leader and direct reports.

  • Produces and assembles large reports that include text, tables, figures, and appendices

  • Maintains spreadsheets and status reports, and archiving

  • Maintains project files and records

  • Manage document control program for reports, drawings, contracts, contractor pay requests, work orders, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, etc.

  • Maintains and orders project and field supplies, and organizes project meetings

  • Conducts a variety of office/administrative tasks in support of project activities, including data entry and reporting

  • Maintains technical/project logs and related tracking systems

  • Manage the distribution of documents and equipment

  • Preparation for conferences and meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • HS + 6 years of demonstrated experience

  • Knowledge of general computer systems and software application

  • Experience in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA or BA + 2 years of relevant administrative experience

  • Takes initiative to learn internal software and computer applications, and internal company processes

  • Writing and communication skills
