AECOM’s Northeast Water Construction Services Practice is will be hiring multiple Resident Project Representatives and Construction Management professionals within New England and the NY Metropolitan areas. Home offices based out of; Chelmsford, MA, Rocky Hill, CT, New York, NY & Piscataway, NJ.
Construction Managers and Resident Representatives are being hired to oversee and direct Water construction projects within AECOM’s NortheastRegional Water Business line. Projects include; the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and pumping facilities for both traditional and design-build projects.
In these roles, selected individuals will:
Oversee and direct projects from conception to completion.
Review the project schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Observe and report on construction activities
Keep records of construction and installation progress
Make measurements and prepare computations for monthly payment requests by contractor
Reviews contractor requests for information
Review and assist in the preparation of construction change orders
Acts of point of contact between AECOM and client for construction activities.
6+ years of Municipal Water / Wastewater Construction Project experience
Must be knowledge of applicable construction codes and regulations
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Responsive to changing demands
Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
10+ years of Municipal Water / Wastewater Construction Project experience
