Job Description:

Raytheon's Intelligence, Information, and Services Business is seeking a Senior Finance Program Control Analyst in El Segundo, California. This Senior Financial Program Control Analyst will provide support and be the lead for the Raytech finance team working within the Programs Controls discipline. Raytech is a fast-paced internal business area that provides temporary labor and services across all Raytheon businesses. This business is on track to bring in over $100M in bookings and over $70M in sales for 2019. The candidate will work in a team environment providing guidance to the Raytech Finance team, and act as the liaison between Finance Management and Raytech Program Management. The candidate will also be responsible for financial analysis using a large volume of data, as well as identifying and closing on finance-related issues. Additionally, candidate will provide financial support to programs and tasks related with Raytheon Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, bookings and sales forecasting, monitoring of management metrics, monthly and weekly reporting, and cost control and analysis. Other duties include assisting in financial analysis, program planning and controls, program reviews, addressing customer questions and concerns, as well as providing guidance to two financial analysts supporting Raytech.

In this position, the candidate will be expected to lead a team of 2 other analysts, helping drive priorities, processes, and managing both Finance and Raytech Management expectations. In addition, the candidate will become well versed in the IOT policies and processes. The candidate must be able to process and troubleshoot IOT related issues and handle both customer and employee related requests and questions. The candidate will have the opportunity to utilize different real world business tools such as the Annual Operating Plan preparation using the Business Planning (Rplan) system. The candidate will also utilize business software packages such as APEX and Business Warehouse to provide technical analysis for financial reporting of various program funding profiles, bookings, sales and earnings outlook and forecast, unbilled, billing projections, and variance analysis. This position will be an integrated part of a fast paced finance team where multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements.

Required Skills:

Bachelor degree and 4+ years of related experience in a finance role. Ability to evaluate data, develop financial models/plans/analyses/reports, and present solutions to problems/issues for which there is no established approach.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related discipline
