The Hardware-In-The-Loop RF Department is looking for a senior electrical engineer with a background in analog or digital design. The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) RF Systems Department consists of 115 engineers and has the responsibility to design, develop, and maintain complex engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed-loop with the weapon’s hardware and software.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Job Description:

This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer I, G08, who has the educational and professional experience in electrical component design, development, testing, and integration of RF systems and subsystems. The candidate will be working within an integrated product team to deliver complex test solutions. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the design, to include testing against requirements, documentation, and final customer acceptance.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Engineering (STEM) and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with RF Test Equipment, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
  • Two (2) years’ experience designing with RF components, Mixers, Phase Shifters, Attenuators, etc.
  • Previous work experience analyzing RF systems, gain analysis, noise analysis, etc.
Desired Skills:
  • Master’s Degree in in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Engineering (STEM)
  • Experience leading an integrated product team
  • Experience working with the earned value management system

Other Requirements:

  • Must have an existing or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense issued Secret Security clearance. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
