Job Summary

The Water Resources Department of AECOM’s Transportation Business Line is actively seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for immediate employment in our Conshohocken, PA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be part of a design team responsible for the design of small to large-scale highway improvement projects (bridge replacements, corridor projects, arterials, freeways, interchanges). The applicant should be able to demonstrate an established career in water resources specific to transportation related projects. Design responsibilities will include all aspects of water resources engineering; drainage, stormwater management (SWM), erosion and sediment pollution control (E&S), permitting, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design.

The role of Senior Water Resources Engineer generally includes the following responsibilities:

  • Oversees the production of drainage/SWM/E&S/permitting aspects of projects

  • Provides technical direction to and mentors younger engineers

  • Ensures corporate quality procedures are followed

  • Meets client quality, schedule, and budget expectations

  • Interacts with clients and oversees sub-consultants

  • Assists Project Managers with various tasks including developing scope, schedule, and budgets for projects

Must Have Skills/Experience (Including any required Certifications):

Candidates are required to have a BS degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in transportation or water resources, 8 to 20 years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineering license.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience
