The F/A-18 Radar Programs product line Contracts Management organization is seeking a highly motivated professional to provide primary Contracts Administration support for a new and dynamic set of programs. Upon joining the team, this individual will be expected to take immediate accountability to provide Contracts Administration for emerging development and production programs with the US Government.

Primary duties include Contracts support for a complex radar development contract and production contract. This position entails supporting a variety of contract types and miscellaneous agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, with various customers. This opportunity will provide the selected candidate with a platform for accelerated experiential learning to develop and broaden contracts technical capability especially in the area of domestic contracting.

This position also entails the following responsibilities:

  • daily and close communication with customers;
  • effective management of customer priorities/needs;
  • support closure of contractual issues;
  • provide governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract; and
  • overall contract management in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, the Federal Acquisition Regulations and contract requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to concurrently and independently work multiple projects with strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of contract & financial structures, pricing strategies, policy & procedure and compliance principles.
  • Working knowledge of Contracts Management and Administration
  • Effective communicator both orally and in writing; strong analytical skills; strong interpersonal skills; be adaptable to a variety of business situations.
  • Must have the ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork and trust.
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Focus on responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date and will require the ability to access US only data systems
  • Computer proficiency; experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
  • Contracts or Business experience
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of business systems including Integrated Contract Management System (ICMS), APEX, CDMS and SAP
  • Existing Secret Clearance preferred

Required Education:
Must have a BS / BA with a major in Business Administration, Public Administration, Contracts, Economics, Government, or equivalent and have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
