The Network & Cyber Technologies (NCT) team uses the fundamental principles of math, engineering, and physics to respond to customer requirements addressing challenges in information exchange, protection, and exploitation within the communications, physical layer RF, and cyber domains. Our fundamental capabilities include security and game theory, cyber analysis which produces security assurances for mission critical systems, networking protocols and solutions, forensics, privacy, electro-magnetic research (including IoT), and work with proprietary customers.
This role provides program management support to the technical staff.

What you will do
Significant interaction with the technical and project support staff on multiple projects
Advise and collaborate with the technical staff on customer interactions
Be responsible for monitoring spending, staffing, contract schedule, subcontracts, material purchases, and deliverables
Help the team stay on task and on budget

What you need
2 to 5 years of project management / program management
Be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently handle complex program management issues while helping researchers focus on the technical work to be achieved and the big picture of their efforts
Be creative and people-centered
Have a B.S. or equivalent in a technical degree or business administration, with eight-plus years of industry experience
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Have expertise in creating documents, presentations, e.g., Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Have experience with task planning, staffing, and tracking of projects with multiple personnel
Have experience with financial tracking, including the use of tools like Microsoft Excel and Project
• Position may require some amount of overnight travel.
US citizenship required

Additional Skills
Strong financial skills, including forecasting and budgeting
Experience dealing with government compliance processes such as export/import control
Experience managing Government-funded contracts
Experience writing proposals for Government funding
Experience with managing subcontractors and consultants
Willingness to apply for and be granted a US Government security clearance
