AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer I for employment in the Roanoke, VA office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, technical specifications, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, cost estimates, detailed analyses and other materials suitable for procurement and building construction purposes

• Develop electrical power and distribution design concepts with architects, engineers and owners

• Design of lighting, signal and telecommunications systems, in building

• Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or other related field

• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
