Space and Airborne Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to manage an integrated product team developing electronics for Electronic Warfare (EW) applications. The Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) will be in charge of developing the technical baseline for his/her domains of responsibility (Digital Electronics, Analog/Power Electronics, RF Electronics, and Firmware) and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards. The IPTL will also be responsible for achieving schedule milestones on-time and within allotted budget while managing his staff. The IPTL is expected to solve technical issues within his domain(s) of expertise and help the team in overcoming issues that impede program progress, allowing the core staff to concentrate on given work products. This position will be responsible for generating financial Estimate at Completion (EAC), supporting program gate reviews, and facilitating independent peer reviews of all work products.

This is an expert level position that requires a high level of understanding of electronic circuit design and development.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 Years of experience participating in the design, development, integration/test, and sell-off of complex electronics subsystems
  • Specific domain expertise in one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Analog/Power Electronics, Firmware
  • Proven ability to take a design concept at block diagram or requirements level and develop a completed hardware design
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel to customers and vendors
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within one year of start date.

  • Demonstrated project leadership including cost, schedule, and technical responsibility of complex electronics subsystems
  • Earned Value / Control Account Manager experience
  • Expertise in Identifying and implementing circuit card and subassembly design updates
  • Experience in resolving technical production issues
  • Strong presentation creation and delivery experience
  • Subcontract management experience
  • Supply Chain/procurement management experience
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed engineering team
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
Desired Education:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
