Job Summary
AECOM’s Federal Environmental Portfolio is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager for immediate employment in, or nearby, Huntsville, Alabama. The individual will be primarily responsible for account management activities as well as the pursuit and management of new prime contracts and FFP/CPFF task orders with oversight on cost/budget, schedule, and quality.
The applicant shall be competent, experienced, and knowledgeable in the full range of HTRW activities from investigations, to studies, designs, remediation, short-term operations and maintenance, as well as Military Munitions Response (MMR) actions. The successful candidate will also lead business development and marketing activities and the implementation of record keeping, administrative, and quality control programs. This individual will serve as our primary point of contact for all coordination with the USACE Huntsville Center and, potentially, Red Stone Arsenal.
Minimum Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Location in the southeast US preferred, US Citizenship is required
BS/BA management, geology, chemistry or related field with 10 years of Project Management and 5 years of Program Management experience in performing and managing USACE environmental remediation/HTRW/MMR
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Must be willing to take direction and work as a member of a collaborative team
Experience in DoD environmental programs, knowledge of USACE environmental program requirements and processes
Able and willing to travel
Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance
Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire people, and manage diverse project teams, to scope, schedule, and budget
Knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and controls
Knowledge of federal contracts
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communications
Organizational management skills as well as the ability to perform detailed oriented work.
PE or other professional registration/certification
Advanced degree in a relevant field (Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology)
Experience in leading large groups in pursuit of common objectives
Experience remediating HTRW, MMR, and/or CWM contaminated sites under USACE contracts
Participation with outside agencies/organizations/associations related to the field
