Job Summary

The Buildings + Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Technologist for immediate employment in the Edmonton, AB office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Working on design and drawing production for municipal, commercial and industrial projects

  • Coordinate and produce drafting assignments with project managers and engineers from initial project stage to project completion; utilizing AutoCAD, Revit and other CADD tools

  • Efficiently work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to produce drawing packages

  • Follows group practices and prescribed project standards

  • Ensure that project needs are met in a timely manner

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

  • Technology Diploma from a relevant discipline area

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory

  • Employee requires a positive, energetic and helpful attitude

  • Employee must have excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Desire to progress towards Applied Science Technologists (A.Sc.T.) status

  • Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
