An experienced cyber Digital Product Owner (Agile) is needed to join the security team of a major nationwide organization, with thousands of sites, to continually improve its complex multi-protocol nationwide network.
This role will be at our customer's headquarters in Washington DC.
Help continuously define, prioritize, and validate requirements for multiple Agile or incremental delivery teams at the program level.
Help partner with the client and Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) Business Team and be the internal voice for the client and the voice of the development teams to CISO.
Act as a go-between for the client and Scrum teams.
Empower business counterparts as they move from Waterfall to Agile and help define the Agile requirements process.
Work with government executives to support a diverse set of priorities, including providing analytical support to develop new initiatives and improve user experiences to drive value.
Define what should be built through the development of features and user stories, including non-functional requirements and establishing a program backlog.
Prioritize the backlog continually, including working with Scrum teams to allocate the program features and ensure alignment to the release vision.
Required experience and skills:
4+ years of experience with analyzing the requirements process for large projects or programs
4+ years of experience with an Agile program or project as an analyst, Scrum Master, or product owner
Experience with Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban
Ability to leverage business acumen
Subject matter expert in identity and access management is a plus
4+ years of experience with mobile app development
4+ years of demonstrated knowledge of digital strategy highly preferred
Experience in working with distributed teams
Experience with development systems or platform environments, including activity and service models and security and performance architectures
Ability to learn and apply new concepts, including a history of self-teaching and learning through doing
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or PMI Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification is ideal
4+ years related work experience for G08
6+ years related work experience for G09
The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a related field. Master's degree is desired. Or, two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
Desired Certifications (one or more of the following): DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II; CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), CISM, CRISC, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, or CSLC 152984
